Actor Varun Dhawan has been growing his hair for his next film ‘Bhediya’ which also stars Kriti Sanon. On Thursday (July 8), the actor informed his fans that the shooting of his film has ended and shared a photo from the last day of filming. He also shared that the time has come to ‘say goodbye to his long hair.

In the black and white photo, handsome hunk Varun can be seen flaunting six-pack abs in the mirror with a long beard and full-grown fair. The photo is taken from the actor’s backside and shows in what good shape he is. While sharing the photo, Varun said that since they weren’t allowed to post any stills from the movie, he was sharing this special photo.

“Last day. Filming our last key scenes on #BHEDIYA in the next 24 hrs. Since we are not allowed to put out any stills from the film this was the last time I starred in the mirror and kinda had to say it’s time to say goodbye to my long hair, beard and the changes my director @amarkaushik has made me make for this character. Although something tells me this is not the end but a new beginning,” the actor wrote in the caption. 

The Amar Kaushik directorial is a supernatural thriller co-starring, Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in key roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on April 14, 2022.

While speaking to a leading news agency, the film’s writer, Niren Bhatt said, “Bhediya is a visual film. We created so many visuals, this is how the creature would look and this is how the conversion would happen. We have tried to create a film which would stand out internationally in this genre. The effort was to create something unique and path breaking. It is not a werewolf film, it is a completely different genre that we are trying to define in Hindi cinema.”

Apart from ‘Bhediya’, Varun also has the upcoming film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ in his pipeline which stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
