I saw a guy far away who was trying to walk up without skis, so I thought maybe he had lost them and I went down to help search.”
As Zilla approached, he noticed a foot sticking out of the snow. Acting swiftly, he removed the snow from the boy’s face and mouth, checking for injuries. “We realized he wasn’t injured and very slowly removed the rest of the snow from his body,” Zilla continued. The young boy, whose identity remains undisclosed, had fallen into the snow after skiing over some hidden bushes, flipping over and becoming trapped.

Incidents like these are not uncommon in areas with heavy snowfall. Tree wells, which form around the base of trees, and deep snow can create dangerous traps for skiers and snowboarders. “The most important thing was saving his life,” Zilla emphasized, highlighting the critical nature of immediate response in such scenarios.
