These new models promise powerful sound, customizable lighting, and extended playtime, catering to both indoor and outdoor entertainment needs.
The announcement comes as Samsung continues to push the boundaries of audio technology, offering dynamic design and versatile portability. The Sound Tower range is designed to deliver an immersive party experience, combining advanced acoustic technology with a modern aesthetic.

According to Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, “The new Sound Tower sets a new standard in how consumers experience entertainment in both indoor and outdoor settings.” This is achieved through features like customizable lighting effects and an upgraded form factor that produces fully encompassing sound.
The Sound Tower’s acoustic structure is engineered to deliver rich, room-filling sound with exceptional clarity and deep bass. Samsung’s Waveguide technology enhances audio distribution, ensuring a wider, more even soundstage. The dual dome tweeters and woofers offer customizable bass modes, including Deep, Punchy, and Gentle, allowing listeners to tailor their audio experience.
Advanced Sound and Lighting Features
The Sound Tower series includes four additional sound modes: Standard, Wide, Stadium, and Outdoor, enabling users to fine-tune their audio settings for various environments, from backyard barbecues to packed dance floors. The models also boast long-lasting battery performance with replaceable batteries to ensure uninterrupted playtime.
For a more immersive experience, users can connect multiple units through Auracast™ Group Play or pair two Sound Towers via Stereo Play with True Wireless Stereo (TWS) for authentic left-right channel audio.
Vibrant Lighting for Every Occasion
The Sound Tower’s Party Lights + system transforms any gathering into an audiovisual spectacle. With five mood presets and six dynamic lighting patterns, users can set the perfect vibe using the Samsung Sound Tower App. The system synchronizes LED lights with music beats and frequencies, offering a range of effects from “Festival” to “Chill.”
LED lighting extends across five key areas of the speaker to deliver a 360° effect, including Track light, Ring light, Line lights, Crystal lights, and Handle light.
Additional features like built-in DJ Booth and Karaoke modes, as well as a guitar input, turn any space into a live stage, providing a true party-ready experience.
Portable Design and Global Rollout
The Sound Tower’s bold, geometric form, integrated lighting, and transport-ready build make it both visually striking and functional. Samsung’s Grip & Roll design enhances portability, with the ST50F model featuring wheels and a telescopic handle for easy mobility.
The ST50F offers a 240W output with 6.5” dual woofers and 25mm dual dome tweeters, while the ST40F provides a 160W output with 5.25” dual woofers and 20mm dual dome tweeters. Both models ensure an elevated audio experience tailored to diverse needs.
