Samsung is set to revolutionize home audio experiences in 2026 with the introduction of advanced soundbars and innovative standalone Wi-Fi speakers. These new products will be unveiled at the highly anticipated Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, a premier event for showcasing cutting-edge technology.
The lineup includes the flagship soundbar model HW-Q990H and two Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, designed by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec. This expansion of Samsung’s audio offerings aims to provide users with diverse and sophisticated ways to enjoy sound throughout their homes.
Samsung’s Vision for Lifestyle Audio
Simon Howe, Director of AV at Samsung Australia, highlights the company’s commitment to integrating design and performance in their products. “Almost a decade ago, Samsung introduced the concept of lifestyle TVs, combining revolutionary yet highly sophisticated designs with powerful performance to elevate home theatre experiences,” Howe remarks. “Today, Samsung is bringing a new series of lifestyle audio devices, offering Australians diversity in design, performance, and intelligent connectivity that extend music and entertainment experiences.”
According to Samsung Australia, nearly two-thirds of Australians relax by listening to music, underscoring the importance of quality audio experiences in everyday life.
This new audio lineup is designed to enhance these experiences and seamlessly integrate with living space décor, catering to varied lifestyles.
Introducing the Samsung Q-Series Soundbar – HW-Q990H
The HW-Q990H soundbar represents a significant leap in cinematic sound quality, offering users an immersive audio experience. The soundbar features a groundbreaking technology called Sound Elevation, which elevates dialogue to create the illusion that voices emanate directly from the screen’s center.
Additionally, the Auto Volume feature maintains consistent sound levels across different channels and content, ensuring a balanced listening experience. The HW-Q990H is an 11.1.4 channel system, combining a 7.0.2 channel main bar with 4.0.2 channel rear speakers and dual 8-inch compact active subwoofers.
Music Studio 7 – LS70H: A New Dimension of Sound
The Music Studio 7 speaker offers 3.1.1 channel spatial sound, utilizing left, right, and top-firing speakers to create a 360-degree audio immersion. Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology minimizes signal overlap, delivering cleaner directional sound.
Equipped with AI Dynamic Bass Control, the Music Studio 7 provides deep bass with minimal distortion, while Hi-Resolution Audio supports audio processing up to 24-bit/96Hz. The speaker can function as a standalone unit or be paired with other compatible Samsung sound units and TVs via Q Symphony for an expanded stereo or full surround sound setup.
Compact Yet Powerful: Music Studio 5 – LS50H
The Music Studio 5, though smaller in form, significantly enhances interior spaces. Tuned by Samsung Audio Lab, it features a four-inch woofer and dual tweeters, along with a built-in waveguide for clear and balanced sound.
Like its larger counterpart, the Music Studio 5 incorporates AI Dynamic Bass Control for enhanced low frequencies without distortion. It also supports Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control, and Bluetooth, offering seamless and smart connectivity.
All these new audio products will be officially revealed at CES 2026, which begins on January 6 in Las Vegas. As Samsung continues to innovate in the audio space, these products are expected to set new standards in home entertainment.
