Samsung is set to revolutionize the home audio experience in 2026 with the introduction of upgraded soundbars and innovative standalone Wi-Fi speakers. These new products will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, marking a significant expansion in Samsung’s audio offerings.

The highly anticipated lineup includes the flagship soundbar, the HW-Q990H model, alongside two newly designed Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, crafted by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec. According to Simon Howe, Director of AV at Samsung Australia, the initiative aims to blend sophisticated design with cutting-edge performance, enhancing home entertainment experiences.

“Almost a decade ago, Samsung introduced the concept of lifestyle TVs, combining revolutionary yet highly sophisticated designs with powerful performance to elevate home theatre experiences,” said Howe. “Today, Samsung is bringing a new series of lifestyle audio devices, offering diversity in design, performance, and intelligent connectivity that extend music and entertainment experiences.”

Samsung Q-Series Soundbar – HW-Q990H

The HW-Q990H soundbar represents a leap forward in home audio technology, delivering an immersive cinematic sound experience. This latest model introduces “Sound Elevation,” a groundbreaking feature that enhances dialogue clarity by positioning voices as if they emanate from the center of the screen. Additionally, the “Auto Volume” feature ensures consistent sound levels across all channels, providing a balanced listening experience.

The soundbar boasts an impressive 11.1.4 channel system, combining a 7.0.2 channel main bar with 4.0.2 channel rear speakers and dual 8-inch compact active subwoofers. This setup promises to envelop users in rich, detailed sound, making every viewing experience more engaging.

Music Studio 7 – LS70H

The Music Studio 7 is designed to offer 3.1.1 channel spatial sound through strategically placed left, right, and top-firing speakers, creating a 360-degree auditory experience. At the heart of this device is Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology, which minimizes signal overlap for cleaner, more precise sound directionality.

Furthermore, the AI Dynamic Bass Control delivers deep, distortion-free bass, while Hi-Resolution Audio supports audio processing up to 24-bit/96Hz. Users can enjoy the Music Studio 7 as a standalone speaker or integrate it with other compatible sound units and Samsung TVs via Q Symphony for an expansive stereo or full surround sound setup.

Music Studio 5 – LS50H

The Music Studio 5, though smaller in size, is engineered to enhance interior spaces with its powerful sound capabilities. Tuned by Samsung Audio Lab, this model features a four-inch woofer and dual tweeters, complemented by a built-in waveguide for clear and balanced audio output.

Like its larger counterpart, the Music Studio 5 incorporates AI Dynamic Bass Control for robust low-frequency sound without distortion. It also supports Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control, and Bluetooth connectivity, ensuring seamless integration into any smart home ecosystem.

All of Samsung’s new audio products will be officially unveiled at CES 2026, which commences on January 6 in Las Vegas. This annual event is a global stage for innovation, where Samsung aims to set new standards in home audio technology.

Stay tuned for further updates from CES 2026, as Samsung continues to push the boundaries of home entertainment technology.
