The iconic Queen of Pop, Madonna, turned a year older on August 16. On her 65th birthday, she shared exciting news with the fans. Her entertainment company Live Nation revealed a comprehensive list of rescheduled dates for the North American leg of Madonna’s much-anticipated Celebration Tour.

The Celebration Tour to be rescheduled

The Celebration Tour commemorates the 40th anniversary of Madonna’s debut album. The tour is set to commence in London in October and will culminate in Mexico in April 2024. The North American leg is scheduled to kick off on December 13 in Brooklyn. This announcement comes after Madonna’s recent hospitalisation due to a bacterial infection.

Live Nation said that it was their topmost priority to reschedule all the shows. They said that a few concerts from the list will be cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. The affected shows are July 27 in Tulsa, December 22 in Nashville, January 15 in San Francisco, January 18 in Las Vegas, and January 20 in Phoenix. They concluded by saying that the fans who had tickets for these shows will be refunded.

Why was Madonna hospitalised?

Madonna‘s manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed a health scare Madonna experienced on June 24. She said that the pop singer contracted a serious bacterial infection, which led to her being hospitalised for several days in the intensive care unit (ICU). She added that despite a little improvement in her health, she will remain under medical care until she gets fully recovered.

Owing to this, her concerts were halted for a brief period of time. While fans eagerly anticipate the rescheduled shows and the opportunity to witness Madonna’s captivating performances, the specifics of the tour’s setlist remain a mystery.
