‘I cannot sign it on Indian flag’: Neeraj Chopra turns down Hungarian fan’s request

The Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won a historic event at the World Athletics Championships 2023 in Budapest. Neeraj showed his excellent abilities and tenacity throughout the tournament, winning the gold medal with a stunning throw of 88.17 metres in his second try. Neeraj Chopra dominated the World Athletics Championships 2023 

Neeraj Chopra made a foul throw on his first try to start the final of the javelin throw event at the championship. He swiftly bounced back, however, and on his second attempt, he produced the finest throw of the competition, showcasing his extraordinary skill. Neeraj increased his lead on the scoreboard and won the gold medal with an astounding distance of 88.17 metres. With this historic triumph, an Indian athlete became the first to take home a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships. Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic took third place with a throw of 86.67 metres, while Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan took second with a distance of 87.82 metres.

The most recent addition to Neeraj Chopra’s impressive collection of medals is the gold medal at the World Athletics Championship. He outdid Anju Bobby George’s bronze in the women’s long jump in 2003 in Paris by winning the silver medal in 2022, making it India’s lone other medal from the World Athletics Championship. Neeraj is the current leader in the international rankings and has qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris because of his outstanding performance in the WAC 2023. Due to respect, Neeraj Chopra declines a Hungarian woman’s request to sign the Indian flag

Neeraj Chopra demonstrated his class and patriotism during a touching conversation when a Hungarian woman asked him to sign the Indian flag for her. Neeraj gently refused to sign on the actual flag out of respect for the country. He didn’t let the fan down, however, and instead came up with a clever answer.
