The winning team in the Asia Cup 2023 is expected to take home the whopping cash prize of USD 200,000, which comes out to over Rs 1.66 crore. Further, the runner-up team is set to get a cheque for USD 100,000 (Rs 83 lakh in Indian currency).
The Man of the Match is set to get a cheque for approximately Rs 4.15 lakh, while the semi-finalist team will be getting a cash prize of approximately Rs 52 lakh. The ACC has allocated around USD 4 million (Rs 33 crore) for the teams, and the rest of the amount will be distributed among performing players.
The Asia Cup 2023 final between India and Sri Lanka will start at 3 pm IST, and the venue of the match is Colombo. However, many are speculating that the bad weather in the country will lead to the match getting pushed or called off.
According to AccuWeather.com, there is a 80 percent chance that India vs Sri Lanka will be washed out by the rain. The weather forecast predicts that rains will lash the city at 1 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm, with a chance that the match be pushed.
If rain plays spoilsport on the India vs Sri Lanka Asia Cup 2023 final, then the match will be pushed for Reserve Day, September 18.
