After a spike in black fungus cases in several states across the country, states such as Rajasthan, Telangana, Gujarat, Haryana, and Assam have declared it as an epidemic. As the black fungus or mucormycosis is being declared as an epidemic in several states, a new fungus has emerged – white fungus. The new cases of white fungus have been found in Patna, Bihar. It is believed to be more fatal than black fungus.

3-People with diabetes or other existing medical conditions.
