LG Electronics is set to unveil its latest innovation, the LG Gallery TV, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. This new offering is designed to merge the worlds of art and home entertainment, marking a significant expansion of LG’s lifestyle screen range and a deeper push into design-led home displays.

The LG Gallery TV serves a dual purpose, functioning both as a high-definition television and a digital art canvas. It connects seamlessly with LG’s Gallery+ service, providing users with access to over 4,500 pieces of visual content that are refreshed monthly. This strategic move aims to attract consumers who prioritize interior design and visual harmony within their living spaces.

Art-Style Display and Design

Available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes, the Gallery TV features a slim profile and a flush-mount design, allowing it to sit closely against the wall. Customizable magnetic frames offer users the flexibility to choose different looks, with one frame type included with the television and others available for purchase separately, depending on the market.

In collaboration with museum curators, LG developed a ‘Gallery Mode’ for the TV, which optimizes color and brightness to enhance the display of artwork. This mode is designed to reproduce visual textures that closely resemble original pieces, offering a more authentic viewing experience.

The screen employs a specialized panel that minimizes glare and reflections, ensuring an art-like viewing experience under varying lighting conditions. Additionally, the Gallery TV adjusts its picture settings based on ambient light, monitoring changes in brightness throughout the day to provide optimal image quality.

Entertainment and Technological Features

Beyond its artistic capabilities, the Gallery TV functions as a 4K television for films, shows, and gaming. It incorporates LG’s MiniLED backlight technology and the α (Alpha) 7 AI Processor, which handles image and audio processing tasks.

LG’s AI Sound Pro, specified at Virtual 9.1.2 channel audio, is included to deliver immersive sound without the need for external speakers. This feature enhances the overall viewing experience, making the Gallery TV a versatile addition to any home.

Gallery+ Service Integration

The Gallery TV integrates directly with LG Gallery+, a content service described by the company as an “interior platform.” This service transforms television screens into decorative elements by offering a library of visual works.

LG Gallery+ boasts over 4,500 pieces of content, ranging from fine art to cinematic imagery and game visuals. The catalogue is updated monthly, ensuring a fresh selection of content for users.

While a light version of Gallery+ is available for free on LG TVs, the full service requires a subscription, billed through webOS Pay, with availability varying by region. Users can also display personal photographs and create original images using generative AI tools included in the service.

Lifestyle Strategy and Market Positioning

The introduction of the Gallery TV is part of LG’s broader strategy to expand its lifestyle-focused television lineup. This segment targets consumers who view televisions as integral elements of interior architecture rather than standalone electronic devices.

Park Hyoung-sei, President of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, emphasized the company’s commitment to this direction. “We will continue to lead the market by expanding our lifestyle TV lineup, transforming the screen into a companion that fluidly adapts to our customers’ preferences,” said Park. “Our goal is to enrich customers’ lives by providing the freedom to design every aspect of their personal space.”

LG plans to showcase the Gallery TV as part of its comprehensive Art TV lineup at CES 2026. The company aims to demonstrate how its lifestyle screens can serve as both design-oriented fixtures and conventional entertainment devices, setting a new standard in the industry.
