Morley’s Galleria is poised to reclaim its cinematic allure as HOYTS Australia & New Zealand partners with ACE Cinemas to launch a state-of-the-art multiplex in Perth’s north-east. This announcement follows the closure of Greater Union Cinemas, which had been a staple in the Galleria complex for over three decades.
The closure in September sparked widespread speculation among locals, many of whom anticipated that the cinema would soon find a new operator. Their predictions have proven accurate, as the new cinema development is slated to commence in 2026, coinciding with Galleria’s ambitious $240 million redevelopment plan.
