The couple first acquired it in 1993, sold it in 2004, and repurchased it in 2017 after their children left home.
Under their stewardship, the Halls have transformed the historic establishment, modernizing it while preserving its unique character. “The bar was made up of multiple rooms; we opened all that up,” Helen explains. They also created an outdoor area in the 1990s and converted former bedrooms into a dining space. Steven Hall’s craftsmanship is evident in the cabins built from local timber, offering guests a rustic yet comfortable stay.
