BARCELONA—You might never be a real superhero, but you can look like one, thanks to TCL’s RayNeo brand. RayNeo has just launched two limited-edition, Batman-themed versions of its Air 4 Pro smart glasses, unveiled at a media preview event ahead of the Mobile World Congress.
The $319 RayNeo Air 4 Pro Limited Justice Edition comes with a specially designed lens shade that doubles as a Batman mask. For those who prefer a villainous flair, there’s also a Chaos Edition inspired by the Joker. These unique shades snap on and off easily, allowing wearers to switch between crime-fighting and mayhem modes effortlessly. Both models sport a Batman logo on one temple, adding to their thematic appeal.
Advanced Features of the Air 4 Pro
Beyond their superhero aesthetics, the Justice and Chaos models boast the same advanced hardware as the standard Air 4 Pro. These augmented reality (AR) smart glasses project a virtual 201-inch Micro-OLED display in front of your eyes, mirroring the screen of your connected device via a USB-C cable. Whether linked to a phone, laptop, tablet, or handheld console, the glasses promise a seamless viewing experience.
RayNeo claims the Air 4 Pro is the first pair of smart glasses to support HDR10, offering “brighter highlights, deeper shadows, and richer colors” compared to its predecessor, the Editors’ Choice-winning Air 3s Pro. The new model supports 10.7 billion colors, a significant upgrade from the 16.77 million hues of the Air 3s Pro, while maintaining the same 1,200 nits of peak brightness and 60Hz/120Hz refresh rates. Audio quality has also been enhanced, with four Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers replacing the dual acoustic chamber speakers of the previous model.
Hands-On Experience
While I didn’t watch any content on the Air 4 Pro, I did connect the glasses to my laptop and phone, experiencing instant screen mirroring. Using a RayNeo Pocket TV remote, sold separately for $129, I scrolled through media and accessed Google TV on the glasses. The display appeared large and vibrant, with scrolling being highly responsive.
The Batman-themed models are priced at $319, just $20 more than the standard Air 4 Pro glasses, a small premium for those wanting to channel their inner superhero.

As PCMag’s managing editor for consumer electronics, I oversee a team of analysts covering various tech categories, including smart home and wearables. With over a decade of experience and more than 6,000 articles to my name, I bring a seasoned perspective to tech reviews. My background includes roles as an analyst and reporter in consumer tech, and my expertise extends beyond writing to teaching yoga classes for nearly a decade.

Tech at Home and Beyond
My Florida beach bungalow is a hub of smart home technology, with smart speakers and displays in every room. These devices allow me to control connected gadgets via voice, set alarms, adjust lighting, and manage my smart thermostat. In the kitchen, an Amazon Echo Show 8 helps with recipes, weather updates, and news.
Allergies necessitate air purifiers, with the Dyson Purifier Cool TP07 being a favorite for its dual fan functionality and pollution data tracking. A premium Ecovacs Deebot robot vacuum keeps my home clean, tackling pet hair and performing self-maintenance tasks.
Fitness is a priority, with a varied routine that includes cycling, rowing, running, and strength training. I track runs with an Apple Watch and enjoy music through Apple AirPods Pro. Weekends often involve riding e-bikes like the Aventon Aventure for both fun and fitness.
Given the nature of my work, quality virtual meeting tools are essential. I rely on the Jabra PanaCast 20 webcam, Elgato Wave: 3 microphone, and a Yesker tripod ring light. While I primarily use an iPhone, I have extensive experience with Android devices for product testing.
The launch of the RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses adds a playful yet sophisticated option for tech enthusiasts and superhero fans alike. As the market for AR devices continues to grow, these glasses exemplify how technology can blend functionality with fantasy, offering users a glimpse into a future where the line between reality and imagination becomes increasingly blurred.
