In a groundbreaking move set to redefine in-flight connectivity, Emirates has announced its plan to roll out free Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire fleet by mid-2027. The Dubai-based airline has signed an agreement with SpaceX to provide passengers with high-speed, low-latency broadband internet, marking a significant upgrade from its current connectivity offerings.
The announcement comes as Emirates prepares to retrofit approximately 14 aircraft per month with the new technology. The first Boeing 777, registered as A6-EPF, is already equipped with Starlink and will begin service on November 23, 2025. Airbus A380s are slated to receive the upgrade starting February 2026.

“Starlink is being installed in tandem with the most ambitious cabin refurbishment programme in aviation, including brand new Premium Economy cabins, an enhanced Business Class, and refreshed First Class.”
