Amid the decline in coronavirus COVID-19 cases across the state, the Karnataka government on Saturday (June 19) decided to futher ease the coronavirus-related restrictions in the state. Though the Karnataka government eased restrcitions in several districts, it said that lockdown conditions will continue to be in place in 13 districts that are still recording high number of COVID-19 cases.

The Karnataka government also announced that the night curfew will remain in place across the state between 7 pm to 5 am till further order.

* Government allows opening of all shops up to 5 pm.

* Dining in hotels with 50 per cent seating up to 5 pm without A

* Outdoor shooting allowed

* BMTC/Metro with 50 per cent capacity permitted

* Outdoor sporting events without spectators allowed

* Government allows opening of lodges, resorts with 50 per cent capacity

* Gyms to operate with 50 per cent capacity

* Private companies can work with 50 per cent staff

* Restrictions remain on cinema theatres, swimming pools, religious places until further notice

Meanwhile, all shops can remain open till 5 pm in 16 districts in which lockdown restrictions were eased on Saturday. Public transport, buses and metro services are allowed to ply with 50 per cent capacity. Government and private offices can function with 50 per cent staff.
