The largest construction trade show in North America, CONEXPO-CON/AGG, is set to elevate its prestigious awards program for the 2026 event in Las Vegas. The Next Level Awards, which honor companies pushing the boundaries of innovation in the construction industry, will now include two new categories: Equipment and Technology. Nominations will open on August 19, 2025, and close on December 1, 2025.
A panel of industry experts and leaders will select ten finalists in each category before the event. During the show, which takes place from March 3-7, 2026, attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite innovations. The winners will be announced on March 6 on the “Ground Breakers” keynote stage.
Expanding the Awards Program
The expansion of the Next Level Awards represents CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s commitment to advancing the construction industry by acknowledging groundbreaking innovations. Dana Wuesthoff, CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Director, emphasized the importance of these awards in highlighting the industry’s most inventive products, services, and technologies.

The awards provide a platform for companies to gain exposure and recognition for their contributions. Finalists will be featured in CONEXPO-CON/AGG press releases, social media, and other channels, encouraging attendees to visit their booths and engage with their cutting-edge products.
A History of Celebrating Innovation
CONEXPO-CON/AGG’s awards program first premiered in 2023, when Holcim’s ECOPact Low-Carbon Concrete was named the Contractors’ Choice Award Winner. This recognition underscored the expo’s role in spotlighting sustainable and innovative solutions within the construction industry.
Held every three years, CONEXPO-CON/AGG is a must-attend event for construction professionals. It showcases the latest equipment, products, services, and technologies, alongside industry-leading educational opportunities. The expo is owned in partnership with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA), and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).
Introducing the Exhibit Design Awards
In addition to the Next Level Awards, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 will debut the Exhibit Design Awards. This new competition will honor exhibitors for outstanding booth design efforts. All exhibits will be automatically entered into one of four size-based categories.
The initial round of judging will be conducted by EXHIBITOR magazine staff, who will select up to ten finalists in each category. A group of designers and marketers will then evaluate the finalists on-site, with an “Editor’s Choice” award also being selected. Winners will be announced on the Ground Breakers Stage and will receive a trophy and a scholarship to attend EXHIBITORLIVE 2026.
This recognition not only highlights the creativity and effort put into booth designs but also inspires the broader industry with innovative and impactful presentations.
