Earlier this month, Armorsaurs made its highly anticipated debut on Disney+, captivating audiences with its unique blend of young heroes and their armored-up dinosaurs. This exciting new series, which combines powerful dinosaurs with high-tech armor and human pilots, naturally lends itself to a vibrant world of toys and action figures. While MGA Entertainment had previously teased the toy line, the products have now officially hit the shelves. Fans of Power Rangers and Dino-Riders will find much to love in this new collection.
Today marks the beginning of a new era for collectors as they can start building their Armorsaurs collection. The initial offerings include human pilots and the impressive Armor-Up Dinosaurs. Currently available figures are Pulse’s Pilot Prisca Silva (Orange), Velox’s Pilot Joon Park (Purple), and Blaze’s Pilot Paloma Silva (Yellow). Dinosaur figures such as T-Rex Ajax (Red), Raptor Blaze (Yellow), and Triceratops Cobalt (Blue) are also available, each capable of transforming into vehicles. This transformation feature echoes the beloved elements of the Power Rangers franchise, ensuring that fans won’t want to miss out on this collection.
Exploring the Armorsaurs Toy Line
The Armorsaurs action figures measure 3.75 inches, reminiscent of the classic G.I. Joe figures. Each figure is fully equipped with a distinct hero color and boasts 11 points of articulation. Additionally, each package includes a parts frame with over 10 interchangeable armor pieces and a transforming weapon, all matching the hero’s armor color.
These interchangeable parts allow for creative customization across the toy line, enabling collectors to mix and match colors and pieces. Each figure is designed to fit inside the Pilot Pod of the Armorsaurs Armor-Up Dinosaurs, with a retail price set at $9.99.
The Armor-Up Dinosaurs
Currently, only one of the Armor-Up Dinosaurs, the Armor-Up Cobalt, is available, and it can be purchased through Target. This figure features seven removable armor pieces, a tail-triggered chomp action, and a pilot pod, retailing for $44.99. While Armor-Up Dinosaur versions of Blaze and Ajax are in the works, they are not yet available for order.
The Evolver Series: Transforming Play
Another exciting component of the toy line is the Evolver series, which allows each dinosaur to transform between Dino mode and vehicle mode. In vehicle mode, the figures feature rolling wheels and are designed to accommodate the 3.75-inch pilot action figures. Transforming into Dino Mode enables players to engage in battles against the Chromedrones. Currently, Evolver versions of Ajax, Blaze, and Cobalt are available, each retailing for $16.99.
“The Armorsaurs toy line offers a fresh take on the classic dinosaur and action figure genre, appealing to both nostalgic fans and a new generation of collectors,” says toy industry analyst Jessica Lee.
Looking Ahead: What Fans Can Expect
As the Armorsaurs series continues to gain momentum on Disney+, fans eagerly await the release of more figures to complete their collections. The combination of high-tech features and nostalgic elements positions Armorsaurs as a standout in the action figure market. With the potential for further expansion and new releases, collectors and enthusiasts are advised to stay tuned for updates.
For now, fans can enjoy streaming Armorsaurs on Disney+ and keep an eye on retailers for the latest additions to the toy line. As the series grows, so too does the excitement surrounding this innovative blend of technology and imagination.
