BERLIN, Sept. 3, 2025 — Acer has unveiled a significant refresh of its Nitro lineup, introducing new gaming laptops, desktops, and monitors that promise to enhance the gaming experience for both casual and hardcore gamers. The announcement, made at a press event in Berlin, highlights Acer’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology with AI-powered performance and immersive visuals.

The Nitro V 16 gaming laptop stands out in this lineup, featuring up to an Intel® Core™ 9 processor 270H and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Laptop GPU. It boasts a WQXGA-resolution display with a 180 Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth and cinematic gameplay. Meanwhile, the Nitro V 16S offers a portable alternative with similar specs, housed in a sleek metal chassis under 19.9 mm thick.

Acer Nitro V 16: AI-Powered Gaming Performance

The Acer Nitro V 16 is designed for gamers and creators who demand speed and clarity. With its powerful Intel® Core™ 9 processor and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 5070™ GPU, it delivers exceptional performance. The laptop’s display, featuring 100% sRGB color coverage and a 180 Hz refresh rate, promises vivid visuals and fluid motion.

Equipped with NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, the RTX 50 Series GPUs provide substantial AI capabilities, enabling new gaming experiences and enhanced graphics fidelity. Features like NVIDIA DLSS 4 and NVIDIA Studio further boost performance and creativity. The laptop’s dual-fan, quad-intake, and quad-exhaust cooling system ensures stable performance during intense gaming sessions.

Acer Nitro Desktops: Power and Advanced Cooling

The new Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 gaming desktops cater to hardcore gamers with their high-performance specs. The Nitro 70 features up to an AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950X3D processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, supporting up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM and 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. These desktops are built with sustainability in mind, using 65% post-consumer recycled plastic. They also offer Wi-Fi 7 compatibility and customizable ARGB lighting, making them both environmentally conscious and visually appealing.

Expanding the Nitro Monitor Lineup

Acer’s new Nitro monitors, including the XV275K V6 and the XZ403CKR, offer high-resolution displays with fast refresh rates, catering to different types of gamers. The XV275K V6, for example, features a 27-inch 4K UHD panel with a 180 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium technology, ensuring tear-free gameplay.

The XZ403CKR, with its 39.7-inch curved panel, provides expansive views and supports a 5K WUHD resolution. It features Dynamic Frequency Resolution (DFR) and AMD FreeSync Premium, delivering fluid and lag-free gaming experiences.

Pricing and Availability

The Acer Nitro V 16 will be available in North America starting at USD 999.99 in October, with the Nitro V 16S following in November at USD 1,099.99. The Nitro 70 desktop will be available in EMEA in December, starting at EUR 1,999. The Nitro monitors will roll out in various regions throughout early 2026, with prices starting at USD 299.99 for the XV273U W1.
