China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has officially declared the BYD Great Tang DM-i, marking a significant milestone for the Dynasty brand as it introduces its first D-segment flagship SUV. The declaration reveals a substantial vehicle footprint, exceeding 5.2 meters in length and featuring a 3.13-meter wheelbase. This positions the Great Tang above the existing Tang L (BYD Song L) in both scale and market class. The launch is anticipated in the first half of 2026.
