The Pebblebee Card 5, priced at $35, is another card-sized tracker option. It offers wireless Qi charging with an impressive 18-month battery life and an IP68 rating for enhanced durability. While it shares many features with the Chipolo CARD, it uses Bluetooth 5.4 and lacks some customization options.
Despite these limitations, the Pebblebee Card 5’s longevity and durability make it a strong contender for those prioritizing fewer charges and a robust design.
Moto Tag: Affordable with UWB
The Moto Tag, priced at $29, stands out as the only Android-compatible tracker with UWB for precise nearby finding. It operates solely with Google’s Find Hub and is ideal for locating items discreetly. However, it falls short in battery life, using a CR2032 battery that depletes faster than advertised, and it lacks many features found in other trackers.
While not the first choice for many, the Moto Tag’s UWB capability may appeal to those needing precision finding. A second-generation Moto Tag is expected in 2026, promising improved battery life, IP68 rating, and Bluetooth 6.0.
Honorable Mentions and Future Options
The market offers various other trackers worth considering. The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2, Tile trackers, KeySmart SmartCard Gen 3, MiTag Duo, and Rolling Square’s dual trackers provide unique features and cross-platform compatibility. Additionally, upcoming releases from Anker, Nimble, and Xiaomi promise innovative features and enhanced functionality.
With numerous options available, it would be limiting to choose only the AirTag, even for iOS users. These alternatives offer a range of features and conveniences, ensuring you find a tracker that meets your needs.
